Tahmoures Pournazeri is one of Iran’s most well-known composer and multi-instrumentalist with deep roots in Persian traditional music. Josette Bushell-Mingo is an eminent director, singer and actress. Together, they hope to conquer the blues world with a new style or bring together two different worlds. With Classical Blues, lyrics from ancient Persian poets, spiritual Sufi music and among the most important here the traditional instrument Tanbour a new style of music is created.
This is a meeting between two worlds, two religions, two continents, two styles of music and, above all, two prominent artists.
